ARTICLE I

NAME
The name of this association shall be:  The New England Assembly of Nurse Anesthetists, Inc., hereinafter to be known as “The Assembly”. 
The Assembly shall be comprised of the following states:  Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

ARTICLE II

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of The Assembly is to promote, facilitate, and educate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists throughout the New England states in order to enhance the practice of nurse anesthesia while adhering to the standards of care set forth by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).

ARTICLE III

MEMBERS

SECTION 1.  Membership in this Assembly shall include the state membership of nurse anesthetists in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Connecticut.

SECTION 2.  Each state comprising The Assembly shall remit into the treasury of The Assembly one dollar ($1.00) per capita of its active membership.

A. Payment must be made by March 15th of each year and shall be based on the paid active membership records obtained from the treasurers of the states comprising The Assembly.
