It shall be the object of this Assembly to promote the best interests of its members: further the standards of the AANA; facilitate cooperation between the nurse anesthetists, the medical profession, hospitals, and other agencies interested in anesthesia; conduct one or more educational meetings and in general to advance the principles and practice of anesthesia.

Membership in the Assembly shall include the state membership of nurse anesthetists in NEW ENGLAND
Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
