The New England Assembly of Student Nurse Anesthetists was created in 1981 to serve as a vehicle of communication between the students and the New England Assembly of School Faculty.
We feel fortunate to have NEASRNA, since not all regions of the country have a similar organization for students to form collegial networks and learn about professional issues.
In addition, every year we give out two scholarships to the deserving students from New England. In 2008 the scholarship recipients were Spencer Stucki from Boston College and Mihaela Manavi from UNE.
We are able to provide these scholarships purely because of the donations and support that we receive from the NEANA, NEASF, state organizations and individual CRNAs.

These representatives will comprise the NEASRNA Student Government, and will be responsible for providing and maintaning an ongoing communication link between the NEASRNA, its members, and the NEASFA.
The Board of Directors will preside over the Student Government, consisting of a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. In addition, officers for the next fiscal year shall be elected and titled president-elect, vice president-elect, secretary-elect, and treasurer-elect. This elected Board of Directors will shadow the active Board and assume full responsibilities during the next fiscal year. Elections for each office are held annually at the last fiscal meeting.
The fiscal year is September 1st to August 31st. Four eight-hour meetings will be held each year, generally on Fridays. A centralized meeting location will be determined by the Student Government annually and by majority vote.
